St. Mary’s Centenary College of Management, Secunderabad, proudly celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and commitment toward environmental sustainability. The celebration commenced with a solemn pledge-taking ceremony, where students and staff united to vow their dedication to safeguarding trees and preserving the natural environment. This was followed by a sapling plantation drive on the college campus, reinforcing the importance of afforestation and green cover for a healthier planet. Participants actively engaged in planting a variety of native trees, symbolizing growth, hope, and ecological responsibility. One of the highlights of the day was a vibrant environmental awareness procession, where students took to the streets with banners, slogans, and messages emphasizing the urgent need to protect nature.
