Telangana & AP Regional Meet – NEXUS 2026: HR Leadership Conclave for AI Era

St. Mary’s Centenary College of Management, Secunderabad, successfully organized the Telangana & AP Regional Meet – “NEXUS 2026: HR Leadership Conclave for AI Era” on 11th April 2026 at St. Mary’s Auditorium. The conclave brought together industry experts, HR leaders, academicians, and students to explore the evolving landscape of Human Resource Management in the age of Artificial Intelligence. Centered around the theme “Connecting Talent, Training, Technology & Transition for Transformation of Work in the AI Era,” the programme aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry while equipping students with insights into future-ready HR practices. The event witnessed the participation of over 100 HR leaders from reputed organizations across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, along with 200+ students and faculty members. The presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Msgr. Yeruva Bala Showry, Vice-Chairman of HAES, added significance to the inaugural session, which emphasized the importance of adapting to AI-driven transformations in the corporate world. A key highlight of the conclave was the HR Leadership Panel Discussion featuring eminent professionals such as Dr. Maddela Goud Ramchander, Amit Kumar Soni, Karuna Vempala, Mr. Mario David, and Amrrutha. The panel shared valuable insights on AI-driven recruitment, talent management, HR analytics, future workforce skills, and organizational transformation. The interactive session provided participants with practical exposure to current industry trends and challenges. The programme also featured a distinguished virtual session by Prof. T. V. Rao, a pioneer in HRD, who spoke on the “LION Competency Model for AI Era.” His session highlighted the importance of competency development, leadership transformation, and strategic HR practices in shaping future organizations. The conclave was conducted in collaboration with TTPoA, Digital HR Leadership Academy (DHRLA 5.0), Me@AI, and THE WEEK, which significantly enhanced the reach and impact of the programme. NEXUS 2026 provided participants with a deeper understanding of AI integration in HR, strengthened industry-academia relationships, and encouraged innovation and strategic thinking among students. The event also created awareness about emerging career opportunities in the HR domain. The programme concluded on a successful note, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to fostering knowledge exchange and preparing students to meet the dynamic demands of the modern workforce.
