St. Mary’s Centenary College of Management, Secunderabad, proudly organized a State Level Workshop on “Bitcoin Education and Financial Inclusion” on 13th October 2025 at the Marian Seminar Hall. The workshop aimed to create awareness about the growing significance of Bitcoin, Blockchain technology, and the Future of Finance in today’s digital economy. The session was graced by Mr. Guru Prasadh Murali, a distinguished Bitcoin Advocate and Global Business Strategist, who shared his expert insights on the evolution of cryptocurrency, decentralized finance, and the potential of blockchain to promote financial inclusion and transparency. His engaging presentation helped students understand how digital currencies are transforming global business practices and financial systems. The workshop received exceptional support and guidance from Rev. Fr. Dr. P. Anthony Vinay, Director and Principal, SMCCOM, whose continuous encouragement and visionary leadership made the event a grand success. His emphasis on innovative and experiential learning has always inspired the institution to organize programs that bridge academic learning with real-world applications. More than 300 students from various colleges across the state actively participated in the workshop. They gained practical knowledge about digital finance, blockchain mechanisms, and career prospects in emerging fintech sectors. The interactive Q&A sessions and discussions offered a platform for students to network, collaborate, and exchange ideas with industry professionals and peers.
