St. Mary’s Centenary College of Management observed National Pollution Control Day on 2nd December 2025 to raise awareness about the harmful effects of pollution and to honor the lives lost in the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy. Organized by the IIC Cell and NSS Unit, the event encouraged students to take responsibility for environmental protection. As part of the program, students actively participated in an awareness rally around the surrounding areas of the campus. Carrying placards and slogans such as “Stop pollution before it stops you,” they spread messages on reducing air, water, and land pollution. Volunteers also interacted with the public, highlighting sustainable habits like avoiding plastic, proper waste disposal, and maintaining cleanliness. The initiative successfully instilled a sense of environmental consciousness among participants and strengthened the college’s commitment to promoting a cleaner and healthier society.
