St. Mary’s Centenary College of Management successfully organized an impactful NSS Outreach Programme at Infant Jesus English Medium School, Gajwel, on 6th December 2025. The initiative aimed at fostering community engagement, promoting value-based education, and creating a joyful learning experience for schoolchildren through interactive activities led by our NSS volunteers. The programme was conducted under the inspiring guidance of our Director, Rev. Fr. Dr. P. Anthony Vinay, whose constant encouragement strengthens the college’s commitment to community service and holistic student development. His active presence throughout the event added motivation and meaning to the day’s activities. Programme Highlights The outreach began with a warm welcome from the school management, followed by a series of well-structured educational and recreational sessions: Ice-breaker activities that brought smiles and comfort to the young participants. Academic enrichment sessions including quizzes, storytelling, spoken English tasks, drawing, colouring, and creativity-based group activities. Sports and fun competitions, building teamwork, confidence, and enthusiasm among the children. Cultural performances by both school and college students, adding vibrance and festive spirit to the programme. Prize distribution, where small gifts and tokens of appreciation were awarded to winners, motivating students to participate wholeheartedly. Throughout the event, Rev. Fr. Dr. P. Anthony Vinay interacted with the children and NSS volunteers, appreciating their efforts and emphasizing the importance of service, empathy, and social responsibility. Key Outcomes The Outreach Programme emerged as a meaningful and memorable experience, achieving several positive outcomes: Enhanced leadership, communication, and organizational skills among NSS volunteers.
