St. Mary’s Centenary College of Management, Secunderabad, organized a workshop titled “From Campus to Corporate: Bridging the Readiness Gap” on 1st November 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in the Seminar Hall. The workshop focused on enhancing MBA students’ understanding of industry expectations and employability skills, thereby supporting their transition from academic learning to the professional corporate environment. This initiative was conducted under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Dr. P. Anthony Vinay, whose consistent efforts to integrate real-world corporate insights into classroom learning have greatly strengthened students’ professional preparedness. The program began with a warm welcome address by the faculty coordinator, highlighting the importance of aligning student competencies with evolving industry demands. The invited guests and resource persons were felicitated as a token of appreciation. The workshop featured two distinguished speakers: Mr. Kurisetty Harish, Senior Delivery Manager, MY3TECH IT Services Mr. Yugandar Avula, Talent Acquisition/Workforce Management, Tech Mahindra Mr. Kurisetty Harish delivered an insightful session on corporate readiness, workplace culture, adaptability, and continuous learning. He emphasized the synergy between technical expertise and essential soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving—competencies crucial for becoming industry-ready. Mr. Yugandar Avula followed with an engaging session on current talent acquisition trends, interview preparedness, and employer expectations. He discussed modern HR practices, resume-building techniques, and key attributes sought in MBA graduates, stressing the importance of attitude, ethics, and lifelong learning. An interactive Q&A session enabled students to seek clarifications on hiring processes, corporate practices, and career development. The speakers appreciated the students’ active participation and encouraged them to remain proactive in upgrading their skills. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the support of Rev. Fr. Dr. P. Anthony Vinay and expressing gratitude to the resource persons from MY3TECH and Tech Mahindra for their valuable contributions. Overall, the session was highly informative and impactful, successfully meeting its objective of equipping MBA students with the knowledge and confidence required to face future corporate challenges.
